Catching up with some loose ends.....I fixed my tranny situation...I actually broke the cable ( thank goodness ) it
Wasnt the transmission parking paw....inside the tranny....but I will educate any one who has Never replaced the shifter cable.... its really not a 1 person job.... there is a small oh jesus clip that holds the 2 cables together.... well there is a reason that the clips are called oh jesus clips......cause when you dont snap it on right the first time and it flings across the shop floor or in the driveway and you yell oh jesus... then you will understand the phrase....lol
But with the help of my wife I was able to install the new cable....

Edit; I just hit the app guide, and they don't show the long wheelbase will fit. But they also stop at '14, and I have a '16. I got them through CarID. They were $415.45 ($69.21 S&H). I just went through the process with '06, and they say it fits the "regular" van, and the boards are 100" long. I just went and measured mine, and they're 100" long. I just guess we're "regular"

Just a white van chiming in here. Have you guys tried cross fitting pickup parts? For air dams and rails that is. I've had to get lots of truck parts and fit is close or dead on.. gmc stepbumper bolted right to frame so did chevy front bumper guard on latest van.got overhead console from a burb and steering stabilizer from a jeep. When I had my 07 all I could afford to do was black paint over berliner cause smooth plastic showed scratches. Even a white van would've bee bad I I got sunroofs, extending rear cargo area and some decent seat pedesta5. Always wanted the halo lights too so I'm very jealous

so if your talking rubs while being compressed... or over bumps...
I can say I went over 2 speed bumps.. NO Rub....
you mention hard cornering. ..... What was rubbing on yours?
like I mentioned before post the 285/70/17 rubbed the sway bar at full
extream turns. But these tires Do Not Rub.
Still no rubbing? I've been looking at new wheels because my factory 16x6.5 really limits tire choices and I wanted something just a bit bigger while not sticking out or rubbing. Maybe the high positive offset / high backspacing might be what keeps them from rubbing. I think I'm going to try and pick up the same factory Dodge wheels. Do you still have the Michelin tires on? Anything you would do different?

Amen brother,on my 92 I went from stock 15s to a set of centerlines w 245/70r/17s general (cheap) from a pickup and ride improved so much. Even better after adding rancho shocks and steering stabilizer to front. For those of you with 8 lug wheels, go to www.roadkillcustoms.com. they have a wheel interchange tool. I can remember that dodge and humvee wheels would fit but forgot backspacing. Have a smooth ride 😁
