(it probably reads a bit low because I was parked up against a curved curb, and on a slight incline)





This following is a photo of my front suspension. It's different from yours because it's an AWD (you can see the torsion bar coming in from left and the drive axle on the right). But the interesting thing is that the bump stop makes contact all the time.

 

 

 

So, if you replace the shocks, you'll get new rubber there. Your bump stops look like crap. Are they hard?

 

 

I'm not sure there is an alternative for those. But they shouldn't affect ride that much. They shouldn't touch going down the road. I'll look around.

Updates!
I finally got the time to take the Van to the shop and replace all four shocks. It had these no-name (at least i couldnt find it) shocks. Now that "feeling" i had before of "shocks transferring all road imperfections" are gone. I have to test them in the freeway though, but so far so good.

 

Just a guess, but by the color, maybe Monroe?
