(it probably reads a bit low because I was parked up against a curved curb, and on a slight incline)
This following is a photo of my front suspension. It's different from yours because it's an AWD (you can see the torsion bar coming in from left and the drive axle on the right). But the interesting thing is that the bump stop makes contact all the time.

I finally got the time to take the Van to the shop and replace all four shocks. It had these no-name (at least i couldnt find it) shocks. Now that "feeling" i had before of "shocks transferring all road imperfections" are gone. I have to test them in the freeway though, but so far so good.
