Default Blower Fan Acting Up

Hello All!

First I want to say that this is a great website with a lot of info. Infact I had to register for the first time in a year to ask this one.

Well my blower fan is acting up. Settings one through three work fine. On setting 4 the fan goes on like expected but it will not go off or back down to a lower setting. I can turn off the key and remove it and the blower will still run in setting 4. Even if I move the **** it will stay on and at level 4. To resolve this problem I just go under the hood and remove the fuse to reset it.

Does this sound like a bad resistor pack or a bad ignition switch?

Also does anyone have the part number for those two? All of the part websites have the part in pull down menu's but they do not provide a part number.

Thank You!

Welcome to the forum. I don't know if you'll get more responses if you include additional information like make, model, year, etc., but it's worth a try, anyway?
