BLUF: Will a 1998 sliding door install to a 2006 van?

I just bought a 2006 Chevy Express 3500 Extended Duramax w/ sliding side door.
I want to swap the panel door for a windowed door. I also want to turn the van green, so I'll get started with a green sliding door. Those are rare, but I found one from a '98 van.

Will a 1998 sliding door install to a 2006 van?

I'm interested in turning it into a "crew van". I'll remove the bulkhead behind the front seats. It prevents me from moving the driver's seat back far enough to get comfortable. I'll install the first bench seat from a passenger van, along with a windowed door. I'm interested in installing the forward pair of windows on the left side of the van... just the ones opposite the door. I'll leave both sides of the rear half of the van paneled.

This is for personal use, not business use.

I guess since the Car-Part.com--Used Auto Parts Market interchange list is driven by Hollander, the '98 to '06 interchange is accurate. I guess.
