Hello guys.

i'am new on this forum i need info that i couldt not find on google,youtube,and the dutch forum.
i 'am driving a sportsvan at the moment we are overhauling it completly.

i want to darken my oval windows on each site of the van.
but i cannot get a good result now i need to seperate the glas from the metal case/casset.
is this possible and if so how.

hope there is something that can advise me.

Why not put the window tint film on it and not go through the trouble of separating the glass and possibly breaking it.

Thats true but i have tried to do this several times and i'am not satisfied with the result.

but is this possible ? To seperate the glass from the case/cassette.

Possibly, but given the age, the rubber gaskets are surely hardened to the point of making it very difficult, if not impossible to remove them without breaking the glass.They really weren't made to be removed. You could get new rubber, and just cut the old ones.

Thats true the rubber looks like plastic at the moment.
i'am going to try it again.
