Strange. Are you using factory sized tires? Is the fuel in your area max 10 percent ethanol? Are you in a higher altitude area? It sucks that you are getting less economy with the same van...
So, it may be because my 6.0 is E85 capable, but one of the gauges I can bring up in Torque is "ethanol %". I've never put E85 in it, but that gauge usually reads 12.3. Interesting.
Maybe because I was getting some hwy each day....plus long hwy trips on holidays to get me a lower average. If yours is all city driving and no long trips that could be a factor. I have not reset my DIC economy for ages.....years.
I definitely don't get on the highway daily.
I calculate my fuel economy manually, using the odometer, and the volumes on the gasoline pump. The DIC is close. Perhaps a bit under.
