Exclamation Chevy Express 3500 Turn Signal

Did some digging on the forum, haven't really found anything conclusive, hoping to get some advice. We have a 2011 Chevy Express 3500 Cutaway 4.8L that has some dead turn signals. Here's what is puzzling me: the front and rear turn signals are out, but the bulbs and wiring are good, and they work when the remote unlock is pressed, (and when the brake light is on in the rear), but not when the hazards or turn signal are used, also the left and right indicators on the dash work fine and are not hyper flashing. I've seen some people mention BCM issues and such, but I am not sure where to start with that. Also all fuses inside cab and engine bay are good.

Any help appreciated

Default Computer controlled lights? What idiot came up with that 'improvement'?

I had the same issue on my 2018. Turned out to be the bcm / computer. Nobody local would do it but the dealer handled it for $1000. Hey! Just what Every truck needs - the lights controlled by a friggin computer.

It really has me thinking about selling the 2018 and getting something from the 1990's to replace it.

The funniest thing is that the blinker noise comes from the factory stereo and is played as a sound through the driver's door speaker just programmed to sound like an old bimetallic switch. In some cars the stereo plays engine noises so you think it has a "performance" sound to the exhaust when you rev it!
