Default Chevy express 3500 won't power fuel pump

First time as a poster. I have a 99 3500 chevy express. It died and the fuel pump doesn't make any noise when I key it on. The fuel gauge is tapped to full. I fed power to the pump and pump works. I hooked up an obd 2 and it won't make a connection. changed out fuel relay. Only getting .2 volt to pump when keyed on. Can anyone help or at least give me a direction to go in?

Changed out the computer in my van That didn't fix the problem. Apparently I've been chasing ghosts because I don't have spark either.

Default G3500 Fuel Pump Issue

Did you get a solution to your fuel pump issue? I have the exact same problem.

Did you check the fuses? Usually when the OB2 scanner doesn't connect, it is a blown lighter fuse.

Ditto. Check all fuses and relays. My van loves to blow the fuse to the lighter and 12v power point on the engine cover for no reason.

If your pump is seizing on and off, its on its way out, and will surely strand you somewhere.
Better change it soon. Once they get like this, they are a ticking time bomb.
