Default Chevy Express Van

Hello, I am in the market for a Cargo Van and I would love any feedback on the 2005 to 2010 Chevy Express 250. I am looking for one with under 200,000 Miles, and I would like to know what are some of the maintenance/repair items I should be aware of. Thanks for your help.

I'm not sure we're gonna get along. I saw your screen name and had a tequila flashback.

I've had mine since last July, and I am not aware of specific issues, truthfully. I've been in this forum fairly regularly, and the most common item discussed is locating the harness for trailer lighting. It might help if we knew how you're gonna use it.

2010 or 11 got the new interior, which is nicer.
The returnless fuel system kicked in sometime there too.....

Mine started out as a cargo van......
the main issue I have noticed on these would the
exhaust ticking... the bolts break and the exhaust manifold gasket burns out
thus results in a nasty hearing exhaust leak... which I fixed if you follow along
my thread BEST UPGRADES DONE....

I was about to mention the exhaust manifold bolts, but I thought that was more on the aluminum block 5.3 motors, and then just the first couple of generations.
The vans have a cast iron block and head 5.3.

2005 to 2010 Chevy Express 250 that was copied from his post...
and My van falls into those years ...
thats why I posted about the exhaust bolts.... it sure helped me
to get a great deal on my van ( LOL )...... I mentioned a couple of
times when looking at it I had It running.. sure sounds like crap....
HAHAHAHA.... I will say this when I bought my van I could
not get it registered right away... the book value exceeded the
actual price that I paid for my van... and I had to get a signed
paper that was notorized that I bought the van for said price
that I was claiming...
HASH TAG........ ( Good Deal ) .......
