Hi, I have a 2002 Chevy Express 5.7L 3500. I have an issue with my wipers and washer fluid. The wipers work whenever they want and usually the high speed always works. But then I would have my windshield washer fluid work and sometimes not work, and now it doesn’t work at all even when my wipers work. I’ve replaced the stalk, checked the fuse under the steering wheel, is there a relay for the wipers/fluid pump? Or maybe it’s a bad connection somewhere? Can anyone help me out? Also, is the wiper and washer fluid in any way connected from the wiper circuit board?

 

Start with the easy stuff, make sure the hoses aren't clogged or broken and the nozzles aim the right way.

The pump does go bad, they're a bear to get to on these vans. You can have someone pull the stalk while you listen to see if you can hear it running.
