a smoke tester is the most reliable way to find vacuum leaks

Jumping on your thread

whats controls the air conditioning on the vacuum side of things? I had rats chew the vacuum lines so I replaced all the from a wrecker
but no air conditioning.fuses all good and relay.and ideas?

AC is electric control. Did all the refrigerant leak out? Can you manually put power to the clutch and will it cycle then? There is a pressure switch too.

what’s controls it? The hvac selector is all vacumm. Does the ac actuator have a switch on it?
haven’t put power to clutch yet and there was 10-5psi in the system. I added some to get is to 45 psi

Per the above green and white wire. Torque App will also tell you if the ECU sees the AC request.

ok how does the system know there is a request for ac? Since it all vacuum?

It isn't all vacuum. There are a lot of wires here.

yes but the selector for the ac is on the vacuum?

so the hvac control selector with the bac lines attached also sends a signal within the controller to the ecm?
