Default Cruise Control?

2009 Express 1500, does not have cruise control, or it just doesn't have the controls. What I've been reading elsewhere suggests that the van has the capability but lacks the controls.

I've seen aftermarket controls (Rostra) that are nothing more than a stalk with buttons. But if connecting the controls is all it takes, I'm thinking that I want to swap out the steering wheel for one with the controls.

Anyone have some input on that?

I am almost positive all you need the is the stick on the column, and probably program the computer. see if you can find a used one on ebay or a junk yard and see if it works. I added cruise to my 06 and I needed everything, module, stick, wire, etc. but in '07 they went to drive by wire. (from my research a few years ago)
