08 Express. Came in for an oil change and had lots of codes as well as the ABS light was on. ABS codes was for right front sensor and a generic rear sensor.

Now it gets weird- There are no rear sensors. OR wiring indicating their might have been some at one time.

Another GM quirk or might someone have an actual explanation for this?

its not a single sensor on top of the diff? What reader/scantool are you using?

 

did you choose the wrong build options when identifying the vehicle with the scan tool.

 

Snap on solus is the scanner. The right digits of the VIN are on the screen when it asks if its OK.

I thought maybe someone replaced the diff but I can find ANY evidence of that or wiring being deleted.

Just another one of those mysteries.
