Question Dash disassembly to access BCM

Hello,
I am trying to access the BCM on my 2014 and 2015 and need help getting there. From what I can see I would need to completely tear down the entire dash. Does anyone have a complete guide to access the BCM or can point me in the right direction as to where I can find this info? I have seen a couple videos on radio replacement but that obviously stops on the radio. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks

Please describe what exactly you are trying to do. Remove it completely? Access the connections?

In the time it took you to write this post, you could have removed the two screws to drop the lower passenger panel, exposing part of the BCM.

I am trying to access the connections to wire up an alarm. I removed the two bolts and can see it but is there a way to remove it? I don't want to pull on it and risk damaging something.

It's pretty straightforward. Unplug it. Release the tabs.

It seems that mine is a bit different. The plugs are on the right side and not the bottom like this image. What source are you you getting this from? Thanks for this btw

Well there's your wires. Can you not just unplug the connector and do what you need?

It looks like the BCM will come out if you just release the right catches.

I need access to a couple of them so its not enough space as is. You may be right but I cannot figure out how to get it to come out. The other option i see is to completely disassemble the entire dash to get to it.

That wouldn't make sense.

Just take out the screw directly above it. The upper dash piece may move just enough for you to get the BCM out.
