My brother got new rims and tires for his Tahoe, and said I could have his old ones if I want. His old rims are the Chevy allow style, with P275/70R/17 tires on them. My van rims are the same style, but with P235/75R/16 tires. I was thinking of putting his old ones on my van, do you think they would fit? Or do you think they would be way too crammed and rub. His old tires measure 31.5 in diameter, mine are 29.9". Plus his tires are much wider too, 10cm wider. The rim offsets are the same on both though, +31mm. Now my van is a "conversion van" and has custom running boards that go around the fender. That could be a problem.
