I have an RV that is built on a 2008 Chevy 3500 Express van chassis. I believe that the front door speakers are factory, despite an aftermarket stereo installed by the RV manufacturer. The speakers are not very good in terms of sound quality. Crutchfield lists 6.75" round replacement options for these factory speakers. My question is, are the door panels difficult to remove to replace the door speakers or is it straightforward?

On my 01 there are two or three screws that hold the panel on and are easliy removed. Then the whole panel can be lifted up which releases the fingers that hold it. Pretty easy as a rule. The spkrs from Crutchfield may not be a direct bolt in. Seems I looked at this a while ago and in my case they reqired some mods. Hope this helps. Walt
