A tsb!? They're admitting to a problem? (Bet they fired the guy who issued that!) Year is 2000.

Yep - I've held the mirror to dampen vibration going down road just trying to see how many cars were coming up on the right side of van.

Edit: Just found this video: which states for manual mirrors (which I have) you don't need to remove interior door trim panel. For electric mirrors you need to remove the main interior door panel in order to unplug the mirror harness.

I only found two studs on mine however after viewing the video above found that the third stud & nut are located on the front edge of door, right where it meets up to weatherseal when closed. I never saw that one so will try tightening that one up too as soon as it's daylight.

Let me know about that TSB, tech2! Thanks! - It never occurred to me that GM would admit to a problem given past experiences.
