electrical prob.
Greetings,
This is a prob. that could be applied to any car, but here it is. A 95 Chev.cargo van that started blowing 20amp fuses in the blinker slot. I thought I had it fixed when I spread out the wires in the trailer pigtail, but now it blows everytime, just when I put in a new one and turn the key on. Wheredo I start tracing, or how do I start locating the obvious short?
What other troubleshooting tips are there?
Thanks,
Jim

Sounds like the short is between the signal switch and the fuse. try unplugging the switch to see if the shor is still present. I can't tell you what wire you're chasing, but if you go to the back of the fuse box, and trace the wire to the fuse, that should give you a head start
