I use my Chevy Van as camper in Europa. I want to change some lightning to second battery. The Haynes book gives not sufficient information about the place where i can vind connectors and so on.
Does someone now how to get better wiring diagrams??
My chevy is an Eplorer from 1999 with a Vortec 5.7

The round thingie on the left of the drawing is the alternator.

The little box thingie is a relais. You can buy those in shops where they sell Remote control vehicles or in a shop where they install LPG tanks.


There is an easier way too... just take the wires of one of the many "sigaretplugs" and connect them to your life battery. Its just as effective. (there is already a relais between the battery and the sigaretplug)

I come live in the Netherlands. The diagram you sent i already installed. Now i want to mount al the electricity, what not necessesery is for driving, after the second battery.
