Default Electronic Air Control Solenoid... Is this it?

Hi, I've been digging through diagrams for days now and trying to figure out what the heck this is on my engine!

It's a G20 Sportvan V6, Vin Z. And Best I can tell it is the Electronic Air Control Solenoid...

But when I start googling for this, to replace or at least confirm with a photo, I come up with nothing. Any Ideas?

Thanks All!

where do all the hoses from it go?
If it's electric and a solenoid, then there should be wires going to it.
I see a diaphragm on it, so it could be some kind of valve.

I'll have to double check where everything goes tomorrow. There's definitely a vacuum port on it which leads to the throttle body. And I think the hard line connects to the air pump. The vacuum diagram that I THINK goes with this engine calls it an air control valve. but again, having a hard time locating this as a replaceable part anywhere...

Can't find it o OEM parts website, or in any GM explosion diagrams. And none of the air control valve parts online seem to correlate with this whole assembly...

See if there's a part number cast into it.

Thanks Mountainmanjoe,

The part number got me real close, enough for me to get all the way there! It's the Air injection bypass valve, or the A.I.R. Valve switch. Which all makes sense as I look at how it's all connected. 2 hard lines to the exhaust manifold, soft line to the air pump, last leg to the air filter. And there is a electrical connection going to the computer, I assume, it just wasn't visible in the picture. No new versions out there from the looks of it online, but could get one on ebay if I need one.

I appreciate your help! Not sure why I didn't think to look for that part number!
