Express Van Security Light Solid Won't Relearn
Need help on my 2006 chevy express 1500. It was stolen, now I am trying to get it to start, but the security system won't let. I have tried numerous things to fix the problem I will list before.
1. New battery installed.
2. New key cylinder housing with new key.
3. Reconnect all wiring properly.
4. Placed a new programmed computer thinking that was the problem, but that did nothing so I put back the original computer.
5. checked all fuses, all working.
6. I connected the yellow wire with the brown and did a bypass which worked, but after a computer code clear it went back to not working. Now that doesnt work anymore so I placed the wires to their original connections.
Did the key relearn so many times. The security light just doesn't go away after waiting 10 plus minutes. I even bought the newrockies module and connected it to the bcm. Lights up and everything, but still security light is solid.
Please help!
