I'm thinking in buying a 1989 Chevy G20 rv.
what's the range of price for an RV like this in fair conditions?
KBB doesn't go all the way to 1989...

Try NADA classic cars. Or just look on ebay for completed sales.

I am also in the market for one and will be buying one in the next couple days. anywhere from 1-4k depending on mileage and condition. Tomorrow i am going to look at and probably buy a 1983 high top conversion with a 350 in great mechanical shape but with a broken a/c compressor for $1200 . shouldn't cost more then 500 tops for the compressor if i pay a shop to put it in. it does have a pretty basic interior but i like being able to set it up from scratch by myself.

I personally would not go over 2500 tops. but you are the one buying it , so you gotta make your decision but the conversion vans are fairly easy find ,, now the RV type is harder. that means it has a bed a way to cook
