Hey so this is the second place I've made this post cause I can't find the other one, so I decided to make a new one, cause I don't know if the old one went through or not. Alright so moving on: I turn my hazards on, hear the clicking underneath the dashboard, and the lights all around work and flash. My backup lights work as well. Now I've already replaced almost ALL of the fuses, I replaced the turn signal SWITCH underneath the steering wheel, and I replaced the bulb sockets and bulbs in the back. Turn signals still don't work. So after some research, I've come to the conclusion that maybe its a switch/relay/flasher problem. So I went down underneath and pulled the Hazard/Turn signal flasher, and tested it with a fuse tester. It's green and apparently in working condition. So now I'm confused and don't know what to do next, any suggestions? I really want to get these working cause I'm in Florida, and the cops here are jerks.

 

No one state has a monopoly on jerky cops. Just sayin'.

Not sure about this, but I don't remember the turn signals and hazard lights using the same flasher. I have been wrong before, and I'll be wrong again.

 

I'm kind of with StanVan on this. Usually there are two flashers. The Hazard flasher will turn on all flash-able bulbs, while the Turn signal flasher is designed to flash one side of the vehicle, so it is a lighter duty unit. My truck is a 1981, and that is what I have. One fuse feeds the hazard, turn, and stop light circuits.

If you have an owner's manual, the location of the flashers should be available to you.
