Would it be listed on a parts site such as GMPartsDirect (or similar)?

The reason I asked is someone mentioned that they used an inertia switch as an anti theft devise to cut off fuel to the motor with a simple push -pull cable ,
I liked the idea but was not sure if we had one or what it was called !

The Ford switches that I am familiar with would cut fuel flow after the vehicle was struck. You had to push a button on the switch in the trunk to allow it to run again. Maybe switch power to the fuel pump relay if you feel that you can safely do so?
