Yes they are for alignment. the shim kit is inexpensive. I was able to all mine back in. Maybe check other side to get a count. But better yet take to a shop and have them do an alignment. 🤙🏼

I know this is an old thread, but the exact same thing just happened to me and I’m curious how y’all got the studs off AND what studs you replaced them with. I was thinking of trying to find some wheel studs that would work. I’m currently stuck about 5 hours from home 😔
