I just had the same thing happen! I was able to fix it but have all of these weird spacers. They sit on the stud/bolt that broke in between the pivot shaft and the bracket/plate that the bolt comes through. Are these spacers for some part of the alignment? It seems like the alignment is definitely off. Most of them had already fallen out when I was taking it apart thankfully they were still sitting in that bracket but I’m not sure how many to put on Either bolt.
Yes they are for alignment. the shim kit is inexpensive. I was able to all mine back in. Maybe check other side to get a count. But better yet take to a shop and have them do an alignment. 🤙🏼
I know this is an old thread, but the exact same thing just happened to me and I’m curious how y’all got the studs off AND what studs you replaced them with. I was thinking of trying to find some wheel studs that would work. I’m currently stuck about 5 hours from home 😔
