hi. i have just come home in my 1988 chevy dayvan. i put her into drive and picked speed up, she went from 1st gear to 2nd gear but after that she just revved up and couldnt find 3rd gear. it was almost like you was driving something with a clutch in and it was slipping. the transmisson fluid is fine i checked that yesterday and again tonight when i got home. i havent had a look at the gearbox yet but would you guys have any pointers for me? or has anyone had this problem before which you have solved? any information would be a great help, many thanks Susanne.
