Default Chevrolet Astro Dayvan (Wheel Torque)

Hey! Had 2 tyres fitted to my 95'Astro, and the fitters were unsure what torque setting was needed for the nuts on the wheels. They set it at 110 but said I should check. Any ideas what, where or how to find out or is ther a petrol head out there that can help! Many thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My chart says 85 ft/lbs (113 N/m). Torque really doesn't make a vital difference. If you get them too tight, or its not exact, its fine on wheels.

Not a really good idea... you can warp the rotors if you get them tremendously tight.

I have never heard of wheel torque any higher then 90 lbs, even for a 4 WD truck! As stated above, you can absolutely warp rotors by over torque!

The 3/4 - 1 ton trucks will sometimes require up to 180 ft/lbs. It depends largely on the type of threads the lugs have.

Oh, I'm sorry, I thought the thread was about a 95 Astro van, not a 3/4 or 1 ton truck when I stated I never heard of torque over 90 ft. pounds,my mistake! LOL, I drive tractor trailer, wanna discuss their torque?
