Default 4l60E service

Ok, I have a 1994 Chevy G-10 van It has just under 140,000 miles on it. I bought it with about 115,000 miles. I don't know if the tranny has ever had the fluid changed. Should I just leave this one alone? I have heard that high milage trannys and new fluid don't mix. Any thoughts?
Thanks!

No. A transmission service is good for it. Gets the old contaminated fluid out. You know how to perform the procedure don't you?

Hey vanman, Please, for your own sake, change the fluid. I just paid $2100 for a rebuild. Still hurting from that one, so please change it and try some lucas in it.
