Default G3500 traction control

Is there a way I can completely disable traction control on my 2005 g3500 passenger? I drive this thing regularly for camping etc and every time it even remotely gets off camber or thinks of spinning a tire it shuts the power down and applies the brakes. Also I will need to do this without a warning light as I live in CA and my fiancé is ocd as heck. I eventually plan to straight axle in it and hope to keep the abs through all this.

If you pull the fuse, does the light come on? You could try GM. See if they'd reprogram it, but with my experience with my compass... I am doubting that option. It hasn't bothered me yet, but it would be nice if the info was here.

Not sure on a 2005, but isn't there a button to shut off the traction control?

The traction control button turns it off only momentarily. Even if I hold it down it works for just a second or two. I want to disable it permanently.
