Default Ghost in my headlights

1991 Step Van 30 - The headlights have a mind of their own. Sometimes work without incident, other times are erratic, off and on at their own pace, sometimes seconds, sometimes minutes. This will happen even when the van is parked, yet I can't make it happen. Any ideas?

It has to be something loose, a bad connection, bad switch or wire somewhere. IDK, I guess it could be the computer too if they are tied into it.

Is there a headlight relay in this circuit or is the power for the headlights actually running through the switch on the dashboard?

Is it a P30 or a G30 model? and what motor size? I can try to look up the wiring diagrams.

There is a relay. It should be on the Fuse panel. Not really familiar with the G series, but I think its under the dash if I remember correctly.

It is under the dash right below the steering column basically right behind the brake peddle then should be one on the left of that one where a clutch peddle would be if it was a manual.
