Default Greasing lower ball joints

Does anyone else have problems getting grease into the lower ball joints? I've got a LockNLube Grease Gun Coupler and installed the extension hose on the idler arm frame bracket. That helped with some of the other hard spots. Now I can't get to the lower ball joints. I tried a 90° adapter and it doesn't lock on, just leaking out the sides. I went to replace the zerks with some 45° ones and realized they are pressed in not threaded.

I like the LockNLube, but maybe I just need to get a new grease run with a regular tip for doing just these 2?
