Grille for my 84’ G30 short bus
I need a replacement grille and headlight bezels for my 1984 G30 van (short bus camper). According to all the parts places I check that grille was only used on 83-84 so they are harder to find and more expensive than grilles for 1985 and newer. Is this just an matter of styling or will the newer grilles not actually fit?

I don't know if my reasoning is right, but I went in to Rock Auto, and while they didn't list the grille, they did list the "door" which I believe is the bezel. They say they only have the left one, and for the quad bulb setup. Hitting the "info" button, it shows both left and right.

Here's a trick I found with them, and that is to hit the part number, and it tells you what year/models the part fits. In this case, that bezel (door) fits '83 to '91, all sizes of Chev and GMC vans. Hope this helps.

The other thing you might try is this site;

And poke in different years to see if the part number is the same for other years. The parts are no longer available, but you can still find out what other year grilles will fit.
