Default Heater ***** on dash are BURNING HOT -- What gives?

I just replaced the Climate Control Module (the heater ***** on the dashboard) on my Chevy Express van about a month ago. I bought the genuine GM part I bought from RockAuto. Well, today I was driving and that thing is super hot. I mean the thing itself with the heater ***** on my dashboard is almost too hot to touch! What in the world would cause that? Have you ever heard of such a thing?

Lots of current goes through there from the blower motor and blower motor resistor. You might have a motor going out. Lots of people have had to replace the motor, resistor, and even the resistor connector.
