Hey guys, I have a 2002 Express Van that I recently tuned up did new plugs, wires, rotor, distributor and oil change. I drove it for about 2,000 miles then the fan fell off in my parking lot. I went to start it and noticed a pinging noise, opened the hood and noticed the fan had fallen off. SO I got the right parts and put it back on. Took it for a drive, seemed to run fine for a few minutes, but started funny. After I put some throttle in it it was bogging down and sounded really funny, then I tried giving it more gas and fell on its face. Took it home and parked it... It smells really gassy when it is running but seemed to idle decent when I could get it to start..

 

there must be something wrong with the wiring. it might have occured while reinstalling.
