Help needed - no start condition (no power to fuel pump & fuel injectors)
Fuel pressure is good. Even if 1 plug is dry it should start, but maybe skip. Fuel filter won't usually be completely plugged up, just restrict higher throttle settings.
Use the spark tester in place of a plug to see if the spark is strong enough. Don't check anything else until we can rule this out.
Troubleshooting is process of elimination. We have to check 1 thing at a time to rule things out. Check this, then we will worry about timing, cam sensor, etc.

Thank`s.
Now start to think I need to check the base ignition.
This is a new van to me and I can not rule out smth is wrong with ignition timing although previous owner reports that van run OK when was parked.

My spark does not jump more than 2-3 mm at coil lead and then with new cap and distributor rotor does not come out on spark plug leads. Which to me says spark is weak and can not jump over the rotor conatact and distributor cap contacts.
When I made rotor contact 2 mm longer then spark appeared on spark plug leads but to my eye quite weak.
Resistance on coil seem to be within the range.
What else can make spark week. Coil gets +12v and signal pulse signal from VCM as the spark is thrown.
What would indicate faulty coil.

Did you get a spark tester or are you just pulling the wire off? Use the tester, if it jumps the calibrated gap then the coil is good. Since you are getting "some" spark, clean all your grounds and test again if it fails the first time. If it still fails, get a new coil.
Go to this tutorial, it will walk you through how to test the rest of the ignition system if you need to.
Part 2 -How to Test a Misfire / No Spark-No Start Condition (4.3L, 5.0L, 5.7L 96-04)

It runs.
Just bought and installed a new ignition coil as I had suspicion that spark is weak. And it started from a first turn.
Old coil showed restistances within a range although high woltage circuit had 5,3 kOhms against new coil`s 6,5 kOhms.
The van apparently also had bad fuel pump ground. I suspect that it had been for some time started only on LPG (installed on the Van) and maybe that somehow killed the ignition coil and finally made LPG harness to catch fire ...
