Hello all,
I'm a new owner of a 2003, 3500 Express passenger van with a 6L engine, the van has only 156000 km on it and there is no rust or rot on the body. The only thing is the engine has a few quirks like throwing a few codes here and there like P0300, and P0304.
I checked the coil, wire, spark, replaced the sparkplugs and all checked out fine. We then did a compression test on cylinder#4 and it matches up with the others so that checked out fine.
So now I'm about to check the injectors and I found 8 used ones from a Chevy blazer SS with a 6L engine.
These injectors are LS 36lb/hr 4 hole injectors #12594512 would these fit my engine?
I know nothing about fuel injectors.

 

Using a good diagnostic tool, get a misfire count for each cylinder. You can also use it to run an injector balance test.



go to a parts catalog and see if the numbers match.

I would also measure to see if you have good fuel pressure and leakdown.

 

I had the same issue with this engine and LPG
My problem was solved after I cleaned the injector. All missfire codes are gone
