How do i remove the hood ?

You have to remove the wiper arms, under the black plastic cover, remove the nut on the shaft (mark the shaft to reinstall in same position). Remove the black plastic air inlet grilles, a few phillips screws. Then remove the pivot nut and bolt from each hinge.

OK Artie1, my method was basically by the book. I would definitely remove all the cowling screws (7) and unclip the plastic tabs located at the extreme ends of the cowling (total about five minutes of work). The cowlings will still be captured by the wiper arms but you can slide them around to give you more room to get to the pivot bolts. The passenger side will be wide-open, the driver's side still a little tight, but doable.
