I just bought an
Autel AP200 Autel AP200
and it appears it will be able to adjust the TPMS pressures. I haven't done it yet but messed with it a bit. I was able to change the rear from standard, but I changed it to 550kPa which is what's on the door sticker.

Why? your gas mileage will probably be better if you keep pump up to 80 PSI. Mine are at 84 right now.

What kind of MPG are you getting with the 84 lb. pressure tires?

I just drove my Savana 2500 for 1100 miles and according to the onboard electronics I got 19.2 mpg. Stock tires were 40 rear and 35 front.

I’m running 46 front and 50 rear with winter tires and my average mpg is steady at 14.3 on the EVIC. It hasn’t changed at all since I started running the lower pressure. This is cold winter driving, primarily short trips and using the remote start frequently.

My basic logic boiled down to: I'm running the Savana 2500 pretty much dead empty - so why can't I run Savana 1500 tire pressures. Turns out that I can. <g>

I haven't noticed any difference in the handling but the ride quality is Much improved.

still terrible. 13.0 city. It's just that the tires go up when they get hot. So cold the tires are actually at 81 PSI
