I think it was yesterday... I was driving and I was wishing this forum was actually a physical location. Like some unused lot of land at some highway junction where people with vans just go hang out, talk about their mods, discuss ideas, share tips, etc. It would be scary if vans were that popular here that there was an actual club, but... I just.. I guess the weather is nice, I am texted out, staying off facebook and... I would find more motivation to work on my truck if someone local was interesting in hanging out from time to time.

I have a million things to do, I shouldn't concentrate on the nonsensical/nonexistent.

 

Somewhere in Asia, there is a subculture. Can't remember which region though.

 

I'm old enough to remember when there were hangout places. Hot cars, custom vans, and yes, girls.

Currently living in an area the wife and I can go to the drive in. Lay on the bed in the back, with the rear doors open. With the upgraded radio deck, has a remote. Just have to remember snacks and drinks.

 

I met a couple of local people from the Astro forum and there were a few more just on the other side of the border. We traded spare parts. It was a tight group. Miss it.
