Default Ignition Housing Problem

I have a 2003 Express 1500. I need to replace my ignition housing and lock cylinder because someone tried to steal my van and mangled the ignition. I cannot get the cable out of the housing. I removed the cable from the shifter. I cannot find the cable anywhere. Does anyone know the part number or exact name? Im not sure why this is so difficult to find. Any suggestion on getting the cable out of the housing?

No. I believe that is the cable from the shifter to the transmission.

I would have bought a replacement column with the key from a salvage yard. Or even without the key if I could get the key made.
