Ignition switch connector wires
A little while back my friend had to move my 78 g20 chevy van. And since I had the keys on me at work he took it upon himself to hot wire it. Well when he did he also managed to pull the wires out of the ignition switch connector. Now I have a mess of wires under the dash and no idea where anything goes. And of course my friend can't remember what goes where. I figure it should be pretty simple but has turned out not to be that simple at all. Any and all help would be appreciated.
Ok went to the pic a part and figured out all the wires. But still didn't start. Turn the key and nothing. Looked underneath and one of the starter wires was just hanging there. Crawled underneath it and replaced the connector on the end of the wire and hooked it back up to the starter. So after all that it turned right over and runs like a champ. Also on a side note while I was at pic a part I found a few other things I needed. Took some pictures to help me in other projects as well. Thinking about putting a hightop on my van. They have a really nice one and from what I can see it doesn't look that hard to take off. Its just what am I going to have to do to put it on mine.
