Default Installing Seats in 2010 Express

Hello everyone,

As you can see I am brand new to this forum, but I've been a longtime owner of multiple Chevy vehicles.

Just two weeks ago I bought a 2010 Express from Richard Chevrolet with only the passenger and driver seats. Therefore, I purchased two old seats from a 2005 Suburban to install in the back of my new Express.

I have installed seats in vehicles before. However, underneath the 2010 Express there is a metal sheet/pan that's used as a heat guard for the muffler. How is this attached, and what fastener can I use to remove this sheet?

Thanks,
-Jim Lawrence

this heat shield is on the muffler, uses 1/4" (6mm) rivets

this heat shield is frame attached uses bolts i think are either 10mm or 7/16"

but from what it looks like u can remove the shields without having to remove muffler

good luck!
