Hallo,

on my G20 from 1996 the interior lights are only working, if the back door or the trunk is opened. Not on one of the front doors. The buzzer is acting on opened or closes drivers front door.

What can be the problem?

Those switches in the doorjam can wear out or break.

 

Hallo, yes, but on driver side, the buzzer is working very well (key is in ignition and door is open, it beeps, door is closed, the beep is gone). This works all the time...

 

All I can tell you is on my 94 the light sometimes comes on and sometimes it doesn't, if it doesn't, wiggling the switch button can make it come on.

 

OK, I will look closer on the door contacts...
