new guy here

just got a 2004 chevy express 3500 and when i went to swap out the bulbs with LEDs I found there was not enough room for the low beam to allow the housing to go back in. Has anyone found LED bulbs that fit?

 

I had the same issue with the aftermarket halogens. Only way I could have made them work was to cut on the pan behind the lights. I guess that's why they were only $19 on ebay... :/

 

thanks for responding on the lighting issue - it's kind of a shame that with all of that space under the hood, they made it so you cannot install the larger bulbs without modifying the brace or whatever that is behind the lights.
