Default Left Tail light not working

Hello. I have a 2013 chevy express.

the tail light on the driver side is not working. I replaced the light bulb and it it is still not working. The turn signal (which uses the same bulb works)

Could this possibly be a fuse ? And if so where can i find that fuse and what is called ?

i appreciate your help.

A fuse would take out all the brake lights, not just one.
Check that the socket is clean of corrosion and is intact so it touches the contacts on the bulb.
Check for 12v and ground in the socket for the contacts that power the brake side of the bulb.
