I spray-painted mine with a can of $7.49 Duplicolor matching paint. It looked great for 1 year, lol. I also used the pre-2002 side trim pieces because they were fancier :-)

If you have traction control, there is a button, probably on the dash.

but I know I have been wrong before.. lol
what about changing >Something < to recalibrate the speedo ?
Your van doesn't have the Stabilitrak because it's an older cargo one, so you can install either one. Stabilitrak came standard on passenger vans in 2005+, and years later on the cargo ones.
If you want correct speedo readings, the PCM has to be reflashed for the gear ratio change (dealer, EFILive or HPTuners needed for this. Basic Tech 2 isn't enough).
I actually have a 4.10 FF (non-locking) axle with 225k. miles for sale (San Diego CA) if anyone wants $500 + $200 shipping

Where would I find the case number on my diff? Based on the pic of my rear end, and this chart;

Differential Identification | Gearhead Diva

I figure I have a GM 8.6(25). Powertrax makes a no slip for that rear end, but only with case numbers "Ending In 0748 and 0449". The other troubling thing is that all the vehicles in the app chart top out at 2500. Is this a concern?

I need to fix this. I can ill afford to do it, but I can't get stuck at some slippery boat ramp, or allow one lousy inch of snow stop me (AGAIN!!) Part of my frustration comes from being in an AWD for years. I expected a bit of loss of performance, but didn't expect going from 4WD to 1WD. I am not happy. I take solace in that I do have a stable of mechanics eager and willing to help me out. So, labor will most likely be beer and burgers.
