Our 'new-to-us' 1999 Chevy Express 1500 power passenger mirror didn’t work, so I pulled the door panel. It was unplugged, but the odd thing is it doesn’t seem to have the matching connector in the harness coming through the door. I pulled the kick panel, but didn’t find it there either. Interestingly, it also had the top tweeter speaker installed, also with no matching connector. For reference, the driver’s door has a functioning power mirror. The van is immaculate and exceedingly well-maintained. The passenger door still has the original factory code and VIN sticker, and does not appear to have been replaced. Does this somehow have the wrong harness in the passenger door? Or is the mirror connector/top speaker connectors on a separate harness that never got connected and is tucked away some where I just can't find? Any suggestions on how to hook up the mirror would be appreciated.
Welcome from Florida. It is possible that the previous owner changed the mirror and tweeter with the wrong ones. Remove the driver's side panel and see what the connectors look like.
Hi, and thanks. It does show it was built with code DE5, "MIRROR,OUTSIDE,LH & RH,REMOTE CONTROL,ELECTRIC,DEFOG,FOLDING,PAINTED". The driver's door has what appear to be the original factory wiring for both the top speaker and mirror, and it's working on that side. The passenger door seems to have no traces of the top speaker or mirror wiring (and no unused connectors), though the lower speaker, and power windows/locks all work fine. Does anyone know of the top speaker & mirror connectors should be part of the door harness on that side? Or are they on a second harness that is missing from the door?

Am I seeing it correctly that it might be all one harness, according to this picture?: https://nemigaparts.com/cat_spares/e...g/09/tg09-518/ If the picture is correct, ours definitely has no unused connectors coming out of that central 'octopus' junction point.
