Need help figuring out how to install power inverter
Hey everyone,
I just bought my first van. Its a 2000 Express 1500 5.7L V8 Choo-Choo Conversion. I am looking to make it usable as a camping vehicle to sleep in and still be able to haul gear around when I'm not on vacation.
My first question is if its possible to install some kind of AC-to-DC power inverter that would let power me be able to run the vehicles electronics (Interior lights in the back, radio, etc) off of 120v from a external power source like a extension cord from a power pole.
I want to be able to use these electronics when I'm driving around too. I know RVs can be plugged in and run their electronics so I figured I could make this van do the same.
Any info helps- Thanks!
