Got the go ahead from central office, tried to call the number and no answer, so sent an email.

Looking at our van, the rails in the van extend back and there are mounting points on the right rail in the back. The left rail appears to be different, with a channel as opposed to fixed mounting points.

It appears I will also need the rear seatbelts for the outer passengers (inner passenger belts are integrated into the seat). Anyone have pics of what it looks like for the rearmost seat seatbelts? I figure they'll be in the wrecked van on CL so I can get those too. Would be nice to get an idea of how they're attached to the vehicle.

Thanks again for the help Ken!

Belts are fastened at the side above the windows. Get the trim and those belts. Back seat in 15 passenger are two separate seats. Get the pins that lock those seats in. Hope everything works out for you.
Thank you

Made the drive up yesterday. Selt belts and trim were easy to tell they would swap. Got them out.

The seats were a little different matter. The rearmost was a split bench, as I found out here on the forum. Four mounting points instead of two, and would require pulling all the seats and rails, then installing new rails in our van.

Alternatively, the middle row seats in the wrecked van were offset too much to the left to lock into my van's existing rails.

After looking at a couple of other wrecked vans there that all had different mounting rails, I finally decided the easiest course of action would be to modify my existing rails, so I bought a middle seat and seatbelts.

Plan is to cut the rails off in our van right behind the middle rear seat and move them over enough to the right to allow the seat to be centered in the van, then bolt those rear sections back to the floor. That will allow the seat to lock in place and won't affect the mounting points for the two existing bench seats that came in the van.

All of that said, I'm going to wait until it's not 90 degrees and 80% humidity to do that work.

Thanks for the heads up on the seats! Guy had a nice junkyard full of GM trucks. I spent more time that I should have just walking around ogling wrecks.

That was the original thread that brought me to this forum (after a net search)

Unfortunately, our particular van, which is a stripped down no-frills state vehicle only had two rails extending back, with a plain rubber mat down instead of carpet.

I'll take some pics when I do the work and post them up, but it will be sometime this fall. We're through with camps for the year (when we need the extra seating) and I don't want to tackle the job until it cools off some.
