Great hack: the mags I bought were in bad shape, I refinished those. The center caps from my steel wheels looked great but even after some customizing they were still slightly to big in diameter. So I tried to clean up old ones. Well they didn’t turn out good so I went to a last resort and soaked one in oxalis acid over night........ holy ****
You guys are talking about blacking out the pillars...
it could be done and cheap I would imagine if
you use that spray... ( Plastic Dip )
it tough .. and if you didnt like it it can be
peeled off... wont hurt the existing paint either.
OH STAN.. ( notice ).... hahahaha

Those center caps turned out nice...
you can pop those black caps out..
I have before.. too clean down in there..
plus if you use some type of tire polish..
on those black plastic nuts be careful
they will run and streek your center cap
here is a new set I had bought last week
i think... I hadnt even posted on my thread yet...lol
sneek peek.. they are platnuim centers...
I personally think the other ones I have
on my van kinda look cheeply... after seeing these
Those center caps you have are nice but, if I had those I’d have a week long polish to get wheels to match haha. That acid is great it get all the nook and crannies too. I’m gonna throw some ceramic coating on the entire cap.
Wow. I have trouble just keeping the bird poop off my van. Looking good.
I gotta come up with something for my windshield. I'm kind of **** about keeping it clean, and using Rain-X. It wasn't too much of a problem with my Astro, but I can barely reach every part of it on my Express, even with a step stool.
And yeah, you gotta be careful about exhaust. When you first mentioned a genny, I was wondering about it.
